Welcome!
I remember a certain feeling of loneliness following the onset of my panic disorder, it can be terribly isolating and extremely frightening. Still, I found learning you're not alone can bring a lot of moxie to your corner of the fight. According to the National Institute Of Mental Health - “An estimated 4.7% of U.S. adults experience panic disorder at some time in their lives.”, and while that's not a huge number (which anyone who’s experienced a Panic Disorder first hand would be glad to hear) there are still 4% of us who might wish to connect and build a community to foster support. In my experience, our greatest discomforts can turn into great kindness for others, and our triumphs in recovery can help build the foundation on which those after might walk.
